Position: Consultant in Elderly Medicine (Ortho-Geriatrics will be an advantage) Location: North West England, UK Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (with a view to extend) Duration: ASAP – Ongoing Hours: 3 or 4 days per week Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Elderly Medicine, with a preference for those with expertise in Ortho-Geriatrics, to join our team in North West England. This position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work either 3 or 4 days a week, starting immediately. The role involves providing high-quality care to elderly patients, managing complex cases, and contributing to the ortho-geriatric and frailty services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive ward rounds and provide patient-centered care. Manage acute and chronic conditions in elderly patients. Collaborate with the orthopaedic team to provide ortho-geriatric care. Conduct frailty sessions and manage complex care cases. Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in geriatric medicine.
