Your newpany An internationally renowned, listed beauty brand is seeking a German-speaking Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. With a strong global presence and a reputation for innovation and excellence, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a business that’s shaping the future of the beauty industry. **must be able to join within 4 weeks’ notice**Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll be responsible for financial reporting andpliance across the German entity. You’ll play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes, liaise with auditors, and ensure alignment with both IFRS and US GAAP. This is a mostly remote role, with occasional travel to the London office.Your new role Key duties include:Oversee day-to-day financial accounting transactionsOversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reportingPrepare and submit monthly financial statements inpliance with IFRS and US GAAPOversee the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and manage the group and local year-end audit processesVAT returns, Corporation Tax, and other local filingsMaintain and monitor internal controls and SOXplianceLiaise with external auditors and tax teams Process improvements & ad hoc projects What you'll need to succeedFluency in German and EnglishStrong experience in financial accountingSolid understanding of IFRS (US GAAP or German GAAP advantageous)Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectivelyAvailability to start within 4 weeksWhat you'll get in returnFlexible working with remote-first setup (need to be able to travel into London office occasionally)Opportunity to work with a listed global brandExposure to international finance operationsSupportive and collaborative team culture
