This newly created Financial Controller role for a Growing Fintech/payment firm paying £75,000 to £85,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based in Heart of the City on a Permanent basis and operate 2 days in the office policy. RoleAs an Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Head of Finance who is all about internal growth and development. Please find a brief outline of the role below:Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet analyses for group entities, including overseas subsidiaries.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews, including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and inventory.Support with monthly consolidated Group report, including management accounts commentary and analysisPerform client money bank reconciliations across systemsAnalyse monthly fee revenue, ensuring correct split between UK and EU acquiring entities.Prepare and submit annual and quarterly FCA returns.Assist in preparing Group Consolidated Financial Statements under IFRS, including notes and disclosures.Support external audits and FCA safeguarding audits.Prepare IFRS-related workingsCoordinate with local accountants to prepare international subsidiary accounts.Key role in upcoming system implementationPrepare bespoke analyses and reports for senior management.Support automation initiatives and participate in finance process redesign projects.Coordinate with tax advisors on corporation tax, VAT, and transfer pricing compliance.Ensuring the internal controls and processes remain fit for purpose, driving change where requiredProfileThe Financial Controller for this Fintech/payment firm is ideally for the belowAn Audit Trained AccountantAt least 2 years' post qualification experience working in a similar roleStrong Experience with IFRS, Month end closing and ConsolidationsNice to have experience with Sage IntactCompanyThe Financial Controller will report into a hugely impressive Head of Finance who you will very closely on the day-to-day operations. The Fintech/payment firm transact over a Billion Monthly and looking to reach 3 billion by 2030 and offer great flexibility 2 days a week in the officeSalary & BenefitsSalary is bench marked £75,000 to £85,000 on experience.
