You’ll be the link between business users, IT stakeholders, and clearing houses. When something changes or fails, you’ll know where to look, who to call, and how to fix it.What you’ll do:Liaise with global and local IT on custody system upgrades and incidentsCoordinate with external clearing counterpartiesMaintain custody system parameters and documentationSupport system testing, UAT, and business continuity planningTrain internal users and support daily issue resolutionWhat you’ll bringBackground inmercial banking or custody servicesConfident using SQL and database systemsUnderstanding of SWIFT connectivity and message flowsExperience maintaining CSD/ICSD or custody-related systemsDegree inputer Science, IT, or related disciplineMandarin helpful but not essentialWhy this role mattersIt’s not a backfill — it’s a new strategic position in a growing custody function. You’ll help define how the bank’s custody technology evolves and interacts with global market infrastructure.Package: £90-100k base + discretionary bonusPattern: 5 days office during onboarding, then 4 days office + 1 WFHEligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
