POSITION: Year 5 Class TeacherPAY: MPS – UPSJOB TYPE: Full Time, PermanentSTART DATE: January 2026LOCATION: Bexley, South-East LondonClarus Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded primary school in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in Upper KS2, where you will help pupils prepare for the transition into their final year of primary school. About the Role: Year 5 Class Teacher Lead a motivated and friendly Year 5 class within a well-organised KS2 department Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons that stretch pupils and deepen subject understanding Support children’s academic progress while promoting independence, resilience, and confidence Contribute to a positive school culture built around collaboration, consistency, and ongoing reflection Engage in high-quality CPD and work alongside experienced colleagues who share resources and expertise Ideal Candidate Profile Holds QTS (essential) Experience teaching in KS2, particularly upper key stage experience, is highly desirable A teacher who brings strong subject knowledge, creativity, and a commitment to raising achievement Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families A reflective practitioner with a proactive attitude and a passion for supporting older primary pupils Additional Information Please note: Sponsorship cannot be offered for this position Year 5 Class Teacher role.
