Job Title: Qualified Adults Social Worker – Mental Health TeamLocation: SuttonRate: Up to £32 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Sutton Council. They are looking for a new member for their Mental Health Team. What will your responsibilities be? As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will work with multidisciplinary professionals to facilitate timely and safe discharges under Section 117. Additionally, you will handle Court of Protection applications, participate in Mental Health Tribunals, manage complex adult mental health cases, and conduct safeguarding enquiries to protect vulnerable adults and ensure their safety. These responsibilities require a strong understanding of mental health legislation and practices, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills. Additionally, you should have experience with Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, managing complex adult mental health cases, and carrying out safeguarding enquiries. You must also be registered with Social Work England, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, have post-qualified experience, and possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in social work.
