We are currently seeking inclusive, dedicated, and motivated Primary Teachers to join a well-established and supportive Primary School in the Ashton-under-Lyne area, within the Tameside borough. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a school community that values creativity, high expectations, and a strong commitment to pupil wellbeing.The successful candidate will be responsible for a Key Stage 2 class from January through to the end of the academic year. The class comprises around 30 pupils and is supported by a knowledgeable and proactive Teaching Assistant. You will be joining a collaborative team who share ideas, resources, and best practice to ensure all pupils receive a high-quality learning experience.Key Responsibilities Create a welcoming, stimulating, and safe classroom environment that promotes positive attitudes to learning.Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons that meet curriculum objectives and support pupils’ academic and personal development.Adapt and differentiate activities to ensure all learners can access the curriculum, including those with additional learning needs.Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the wider school community and participating in relevant school events. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or a PGCE.Previous experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2, with solid understanding of the primary curriculum.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Salary will be based on experience, training, and qualifications. The minimum requirements for this position include: QTS Relevant teaching experience in a primary setting Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
