Payroll Analyst

Job Overview – North Liverpool – Up to £35k (12month Fix Term Contract) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-known and successful organisation based in North Liverpool. Seeking a Payroll Analyst to support the HR and Payroll Team. Duties include but not limited to: Processing weekly payroll with a right first-time approach Ensuring all hours and absences are imported correctly from Time and Attendance system to the payroll system, performing checks and correcting any discrepancies ahead of running payroll Analysing pre-payroll reports and reconciling discrepancies ahead of preparing final payroll authorisation Reconciling flexible benefit provider selections and resolving any weekly benefit issues that may occur Manage own and assigned payroll query emails Monitoring weekly payroll mailbox ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner Ensure weekly hours are collated and processed in line with deadlines Liaise with wider payroll team to ensure weekly payroll information, including overtime and flexible benefit adjustments are submitted error free and is right first time Fully up to date and knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards of payroll advice to employees The Successful candidate will need to have: Knowledge of SAP payroll (essential) Previous experience of working within a payroll environment Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities Knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel Effective diary management, planning and organising Strong attention to detail Excellent company benefits offered including hybrid working, a generous holiday package and pension scheme, plus much more
