The National Wealth Fund are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our Leeds office on a full time bases.

Location: Leeds - 5 days a week in the office.

Salary: £29,000 - £31,000

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for someone to deliver exceptional facilities and administrative support to ensure the highest standards of customer service are met within our business. The successful candidate will facilitate efficient asset management, maintenance, and location services, while prioritising health, safety, and environmental compliance to enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Accountabilities:

Support NWF colleagues and visitors by undertaking office inductions, management of staff lockers, event and meeting room set up, car parking rota and access control fobs.
Identify, deliver and promote health and wellbeing programmes and initiatives and promote community and regional activities in order to enhance the overall colleague experience.
Monitor and ensure the replenishment of cost-effective consumables and equipment to meet the needs of the business, in line with the departmental budget.
Support the FM team with space adjustments and purchase of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to meet the needs of the business and in line with the departmental budget.
Respond to reactive maintenance and health and safety issues, liaising with NWF colleagues service providers and/or escalating to the Senior Facilities Manager where necessary, to ensure safe and secure working environments and that resolutions are reported and actioned in a timely manner.
Assist the Facilities Co-ordinator with maintaining Health, Safety and Environmental and M&E Service documentation and ensure that it is up to date to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Support the FM team with risk assessments and compliance audits, by recording and ensuring delivery of actions within agreed timescales, to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Collate energy and waste data to support the Facilities Co-Ordinator in identifying trends, discrepancies and areas for improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Previous experience supporting or delivering office facilities activities.
Experience of working in an customer service-oriented role.
Able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery.
Experience of working with muti-functional teams and an understanding of what matters to them.
You have a strong attention to detail and prefer a hands-on approach to problem solving.
You are engaging and thrive on interactions, infusing positivity into every situation.
You excel at understanding others' needs and are always ready to provide a helping hand.
