Remedial Plumber

Job Title: Remedial Plumber.
Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits

We have a role opening with an established and multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who are now seeking to take on a qualified Remedial Plumber. You will be attending Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Public Sector sites carrying out deadleg removals, removing, replacing, and re-routing pipework (copper & PVC), and carrying out fault finding on site. Holding experience carrying out Water Hygiene services would be beneficial to the role. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hertford, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Harlow, Cheshunt, High Wycombe, Slough, Windsor, Abington, Witney, Bicester.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ l2 or higher in Plumbing.
" Will have extensive experience working as a Remedial Plumber for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Will be able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Carrying out deadleg removals.
" Undertaking the removal, rerouting and replacement of copper and PVC pipework.
" Carrying out fault finding on site and ensuring to rectify any issues in a timely manner.
" Undertaking final checks on plumbing work, ensuring to sign off upon completion.
" TMV install, replacement & servicing.
" Updating onsite logbooks.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
