Offer training in Applied Behaviour Analysis so that you can help the children as best as possibleThe role as an ABA Assistant:

Your main duty as an ABA assistant will be to support the students in the classroom - this may be on a 1:1 basis or in a small group
You will facilitate a safe learning environment and help with the children access their learning in a positive way
You will be supported by the class teacher and have the advantage of being exposed to a variety of different therapeutic techniques and other professionals
The class sizes are small so you will have the opportunity to give each child the attention they deserveThe successful Therapy Assistant:

Will be calm, passionate about making a difference and positive
Will have some experience working with children
Will understand the importance of safeguarding
Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain oneGraduates with degrees in a relevant field are most welcome to apply to this post. This is a wonderful opportunity for those individuals who are aspiring psychologists, educational psychologists, counsellors, therapists or behavioural analysts.
