We are working with a market leading insurance business based in Essex, they are on the lookout for an experienced RPG Programmer to join their small but experienced RPG team. You will be working on a variety of internal maintenance and new API projects for 3rd party suppliers, working alongside the BA & QA teams.

* Develop and maintain RPG applications and databases on IBM I platforms

* Support & enhance legacy systems

* Integrate modern technologies with legacy systems

* Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and ensure application functionality

Requirements: As an RPG Programmer, you will need…

* Experience as a Senior Programmer, working within a Development team an QA’s

* Tech skills, RPG, DB2 and SQL

* Analytical skill, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements

* Project Management, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
