Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring impeccable standards in a busy venue?

As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in our cleaning team to uphold exceptional standards throughout the venue and their offices. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring that all areas are spotless and ready to welcome guests and event organisers.

This is a casual contract and therefore the successful candidate will be flexible with the shifts worked, depending on the event activities.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sweep/Vacuum all floor areas as required according to the composition of the floor, damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones & fire hydrants and collect waste, and empty boxes when requested
  • Responsible for keeping all areas relating to the event clean and litter-free at all times
  • Responsible for keeping all public toilets and circulation areas clean and tidy
  • Ensuring all spillages are dealt with immediately

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Desirable to have experience in cleaning or be willing to learn
  • Desirable to have an understanding of COSHH and working in similar environments
  • An understanding of following H&S rules and its importance
