£38k-£42k Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Location - Bedfordshire

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Electrician within the Solar PV (Photovoltaic) industry to join a leading EPC Contractor and specialist within the Solar Farm industry.

Ideally you'll live somewhere local to the Bedfordshire area, responsible for working in a mobile/field based position and covering sites around Bedford, Peterborough, Lincolnshire and Suffolk.

Job Summary:

Responsible for all day-to-day operation and maintenance services at the designated MW solar farms in your area to ensure that the PV systems operate to maximum efficiency.
Electrical maintenance of solar plants, follow maintenance schedules, repair work, troubleshooting etc.
Operate low voltage and / or high voltage switchgear (training provided).Key Skills Required:

Qualified and experienced Electrician
BS 7671 - 18th Edition
City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in the installation and maintenance of solar farm MW systems (preferred).
Ideally experience with numerous inverter systems such as, SMA, Solarmax, Mastervolt, Fronius, Huawei, Growatt, Solis, ABB, Emerson etc.
High Voltage qualifications AP (preferred)
UK driving licencePackage on offer:

£38k-£42k Base Salary
Company Car, Fuel Card, PPE, Phone, Tools
Overtime paid over 10 hours per day
20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
