You will be instrumental in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and contributing to the delivery of successful projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and control budgets for projects, ensuring costs are aligned with objectives.

• Tendering: Prepare and evaluate tenders, ensuring the selection of suitable suppliers and subcontractors.

• Valuations: Conduct accurate valuations and manage payments to subcontractors and suppliers.

• Reporting: Provide regular financial updates and forecasts to key stakeholders.

• Contract Management: Administer contracts, identify risks, and manage variations or disputes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of systems and processes to improve efficiency and cost control.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role or related position.

• Strong understanding of cost management, tendering, and contract administration.

• Proficient in relevant software and tools, such as Excel and cost management systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• A proactive approach and a passion for learning and development.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB) or working towards accreditation.

• Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, or infrastructure.
