Mechanical Design Engineer, £35K - £45K, Bridgwater, Somerset

This Mechanical Design Engineer job will suit:

* A Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer with a passion for developing and implementing innovative product and manufacturing solutions.

* You will be a confident and experienced user of 3D CAD. SolidWorks CAD experience is advantageous but not essential.

* Specific experience of designing, fabricated components, machined metal components, bespoke equipment would be advantageous.

* You are likely to be degree qualified in a mechanical engineering, product design engineering or similar discipline.

This Mechanical Design Engineer job will involve:

* Working closely with customers to create concepts, design, and implement innovative product and manufacturing solutions.

* This is truly varied role whereby you will have responsibility for delivering your own projects from start to finish including all the design / technical elements.

* Producing CAD designs and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

* Support manufacturing and prototype build.

* You will be working within a multi-disciplined engineering (mechanical / electrical / control) delivering complete engineering solutions to ever growing customer base.

This Mechanical Design Engineer job is commutable from Taunton, Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Langport, Yeovil, Ilminster, Tiverton, Wells, and surrounding areas.
