Exciting Opportunity for a Long-Term Supply English Teacher in Durham

This position, starting in December 2024 and extending through summer 2025, offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of the world around them.

The Role:
As a Supply English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mathematical education to students in a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Instilling a love for English through innovative teaching methods and practical applications
- Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborating with fellow English Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resources

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Proven experience as a English Teacher, dedicated to fostering subject understanding
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
