About the Role:

Career Teachers is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a special school in Leeds. These full-time, long-term positions start immediately and offer the potential to transition to a permanent contract with the school. You will be supporting students with special educational needs, including autism, throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their educational and developmental needs are met.
Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs and activities.
Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Help students with their daily routines and promote their social and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs, particularly autism.
Understanding of autism and effective strategies to support students with this condition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
Relevant qualifications or training in special education or a related field are advantageous.Benefits:
