Yard Operative

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and alternative Saturdays 8am-12.30pm
Location: Bracknell
Pay: £12.50 per hour

* Keep the yard tidy and orderly at all times ensuring that there are no tripping hazards, or danger from falling or protruding items.

* Offload supplier's lorries and put away stock in correct locations.

* Load vehicles when necessary.

* Assisting customers in loading goods purchased.

* Monitor the movement of traffic in the yard to ensure that no persons in the yard or in vehicles are in danger of collision or injury.

* Observe the Company's health and safety procedures at all times. Especially when using equipment such as forklift trucks and JCB loader.

* Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times for example protective boots, high visibility jackets, helmets, dust masks and gloves as instructed by your supervisor.

* Deliver goods to site when required on the small truck.
