£550/d (inside IR35) via umbrella
IDEALLY will have valid S/C Clearance, if not must be able to obtain S/C Clearance
Our client is a highly innovative, established yet expanding, global design, development and manufacturer producing complex electro-mechanical equipment. As a result of several major projects we are looking to appoint two Project Manager to join our team to directs all phases of programs from inception through completion
Project Manager responsibilities:
*Overall responsibility for completing the project within time and budget
*Managing any bid or proposal activity
*Developing a project plan, schedule and project deliverables/scope of supply
*Managing the project budgets
*Agreeing project completion/acceptance criteria with the customer
*Managing update and completion of all project documentation, both customer-deliverables and internal plans, reports and risk register
*Managing resources allocated to the project
*Identifying and managing dependencies on the project
*Managing and communicating with users, customers and stakeholders
*Managing any third parties associated with the project, including sub-contractors, suppliers and contract staff
*Managing risks and resolving any issues to ensure the project's successful outcome
*Undertaking business development activity to generate follow-on work from existing customers
Project Manager Qualifications/Experience:
*University degree (or equivalent) in either Engineering, Defence related subject or other equivalent degree
*Proven effective leadership skills
*Scheduling
*Project risk management
*Use of Project Management tools, such as MS Project
*Project financial management
*Management of ITAR and EAR in defence programmes
*Formal qualifications in Project management (Prince 2, APM, PMI)
Project Manager Desirable:
*MBA or Masters Degree in Defence related subject or Management/Business.
*Formal qualification in negotiation, risk management and control, financials, or accounting
