An exciting opportunity awaits a talented Associate Director in Planning to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction consultancy in London. Key Responsibilities of the Associate Director:
Establishing contractor schedule requirements through early supply chain engagement to meet programme time, cost, and quality targets.
Collaborating with senior leadership to enhance governance processes and mitigate risks effectively.
Providing expert guidance and technical support to resolve delays and challenges during project execution.
Leading the periodic correlation of schedules to ensure expedient project delivery and alignment with executive reporting cycles.
Taking ownership of business reporting quality and delivering robust progress updates to senior stakeholders.
Managing and mentoring a team to ensure high performance and alignment with project goals.
Supporting strategic planning activities and sharing best practices within the planning community.Requirements of the Associate Director:
Proven experience in a Planning or Project Controls role within large, complex infrastructure or construction projects.
Formal professional Project Management qualifications (preferred).
Expertise in NEC Forms of Contract and familiarity with the public sector's policies and procedures.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment.
Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams in a large-scale project setting.
Meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving acumen, and risk mitigation capabilities.
