Gi Group are recruiting for a Postal Delivery Person with Driving duties.
£13.37 per hour
Location: Pendle
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 2PM - 8PM
Job Type: Immediate start
Responsibilities include:
* Unloading and loading vans
* Manual handling of parcels up to 30kg
* Scanning and checking labels
* Ensuring that parcels are handled safely to prevent damage
* Unwrapping and wrapping pallets
* Checking for any damage or faults in oods
* Carry out bulk collection work by driving a 3.5t Sprinter van in the evening
Requirements
* A full and valid UK Cat B Driving licence - DVLA checks will be completed
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence. DD/RR/TT convictions or endorsements in the last 4 years will not be accepted
* Experience of driving a 3.5t van is preferred
* Must have held driving licence for minimum of 12 months and be in current home address
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* You must be physically fit to be able to manually load and unload parcels into a van (up to 30kg)
* You also be required to pass a basic disclosure (DBS)
