What You Will Do:

Utilise Solid Edge 3D modelling system to design and detail products that meet and exceed standard specifications.
Compile and input Bill of Materials (BOMs) for the ERP system, ensuring seamless product manufacturing.
Prioritise your workload effectively, aligning with project team timelines and priorities.
Collaborate closely with the design team to introduce new product variants, focusing on design improvements and cost savings.
Produce design documentation in line with the company's high standards.
Work alongside production and customer service teams to refine product designs, drawing on customer feedback and manufacturing insights to continuously enhance quality and reduce costs.
What You Will Bring:

A HNC or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mechanical or Electrical Design.
Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD, with SolidEdge experience being advantageous.
A solid background in mechanical or electrical design, with experience in providing bespoke quotations based on customer requests being desirable.
Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a flair for problem-solving.
