Key Responsibilities:

* Meet Production Goals: Ensure that production goals and orders are met on time and in full, maintaining efficiency and quality throughout the process.

* Versatile Coverage: Be prepared to cover all areas, including peeling, cutting, grading, assembling, packing, loading flume, loading citrus & grape lines, and using the box maker. Your ability to multi-task and adapt to different roles is vital.

* Quality Assurance: Inspect and quality check products to ensure they meet customer specifications. Strive for excellence by understanding what good quality looks like and working to achieve it consistently.

* Fruit Preparation: Develop the skill to accurately peel and cut fruit according to customer specifications, ensuring high standards are maintained.

* Safety and Hygiene Compliance: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all procedures and requirements in line with the HACCP plan and customer standards. Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

* Clean as You Go: Implement the "clean as you go" procedure, ensuring that knives and working areas are sanitised as required, particularly in the work area and at the end of the day's production.

* Collaborative Efforts: Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues across departments to assist in achieving shared goals. Be a proactive thinker, offering support and assistance to other departments when needed.

* Continuous Improvement: Work to the best of your ability at all times, driving improvement and maximising production efficiency. Your forward-thinking approach will aid in enhancing overall performance.

* Additional Duties: Undertake any other reasonable duties deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

Shifts & Pay

* Working any 4 out of 7 days

* 12 hour shifts

* £11.50 with overtime opportunity

Requirements:

* Communication Skills: Excellent English skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels. Ensure that all information is provided in a timely and consistent manner.

* Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail with proven organisational skills. Be numerate, literate, and accurate in all aspects of your work.

* Effective Planning: Be an effective planner and organiser with the ability to operate to tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
