About the Role:

As the Head of Engineering Operations, you will lead a dynamic team of 15 professionals, driving the strategic direction and execution of key projects in solar, wind, battery storage, and gas. Your role will be critical in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the grid as we transition to a more sustainable future. You'll oversee reporting suites and manage a diverse array of technologies, working on projects that are at the forefront of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 15 engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across solar, wind, battery storage, and gas technologies, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
Grid Stability: Lead initiatives focused on grid stability, ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy sources into the national grid.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and manage reporting suites to track project performance, identify risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Technology Integration: Ensure the effective integration of multiple technologies, optimizing performance and enhancing operational efficiency.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future direction of the company's engineering operations, aligning with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in a senior engineering operations role within the energy sector, preferably with a focus on renewable energy.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Technical expertise in solar, wind, battery storage, and gas technologies.
Experience in grid stability projects and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in integrating renewable energy into the grid.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
