You’ll be leading and managing the day-to-day workload for your engineering team to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved, including the planning and resourcing of pro-active and re-active maintenance. This is a Panama shift working pattern from 6:00-18:00, with an average of 42 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Drive a culture of continuous improvement within a team of skilled engineers, fostering collaboration and excellence.
Manage contractors, oversee workloads, and provide support to ensure targets are met while escalating issues as needed.
Focus on individual team performance, providing guidance and support to achieve high standards and maintain a safe working environment.
Implement and lead programs aimed at improving the reliability and availability of engineering equipment in line with departmental objectives.
Accurately record team activities and maintain effective inventory management aligned with maintenance requirements.
Identify and manage process improvement initiatives, as well as plan and oversee equipment overhauls.
Step in to cover for other Team Leaders and deputise for the Maintenance Manager as required.Requirements for the role

Qualified in an Engineering Discipline - Level 3
Experience managing teams and their personal performance and development needs.
Proven engineering background in electrical & mechanical disciplines
Possess a solid understanding of industry processes, equipment, and regulations.
