About the role: Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to make a positive impact in a dynamic primary school? We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic HLTA to join a vibrant and welcoming school community in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, supporting their academic and personal growth.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, and you’ll provide targeted support to individual students and small groups. You’ll also have opportunities to lead whole-class sessions and contribute to the school’s overall learning objectives.

Application Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years’ experience working in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead small-group and whole-class teaching sessions in line with the teacher’s planning.
• Assist in planning and preparing engaging lesson activities.
• Provide tailored support for students with diverse needs, including those with SEND.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team to monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
