Manpower are recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers for one of prestigious clients in Leith.

Shifts will be Monday - Friday 06:00 AM starts you will be making deliveries across the central belt & the borders, some shifts you will be accompanied with a drivers mate to help with the deliveries.

For your first 3/4 weeks you will be driving their class C Vehicle before being trained and assessed to drive their C+E tanker vehicles.

This is a temporary to permanent position and an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a permanent role after 12 weeks.

Rate - PAYE £14.00 - 8 Hours minimum Guaranteed each day for class C.
Rate - PAYE £16.00 - 8 Hours minimum Guarantied each day for class C+E

Key Requirements:

CAT C+E Driving Licence, Valid CPC & Tacho
You will be delivering to outdoor sites mainly so an aspect of the work will be outside in all weather conditions
Working as part of a team is a must so we are looking for someone who is eager to engage with others to get the task at hand done.
Completing vehicle checks before and after shift
Adhering to Working Time Regulations
Excellent customer skillsDue to insurance purposes, we cannot accept anyone with any major DR or DD convictions.
