Job Vacancy: Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-Time

Description of the Role:
Simply Education is working with a well-established secondary school in Bolton, Greater Manchester, to recruit a dedicated and passionate Secondary Mathematics Teacher. This full-time role involves teaching mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of mathematics while helping students achieve their academic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring they meet curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help students achieve their potential.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported, motivated, and encouraged to take an active role in their learning.
Differentiate lessons and use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Foster high standards of behavior, respect, and effort in all lessons, promoting a culture of excellence in both academic and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department and across the school to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
Regularly communicate with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and support their academic development.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and achievements.
Participate in professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and school events to continue your professional growth.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Strong understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
A passion for teaching mathematics and helping students succeed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
