Maths Teacher - Dover

The Role

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective maths lessons to students across the secondary school levels. You will inspire a love for mathematics, promote critical thinking, and contribute to the broader success of the department and the school. Key responsibilities include:

Planning, Preparing, and Delivering high-quality and differentiated mathematics lessons.
Creating a Positive Classroom Environment that encourages active participation and fosters achievement.
Assessing and Providing Feedback to support student progress and address individual learning needs.
Collaborating with Colleagues to develop the mathematics curriculum and share best practices.
Participating in School Life, including attending school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, with proven experience teaching at the secondary level.
Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and examination board requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for student success and collaboration.
