QHSE OFFICER / MANAGER

Location: Brighouse 
Salary: £56,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 38.75 per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role
As a QHSE Officer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment across all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you'll support the company in maintaining compliance with ISO standards, ensuring legislative adherence, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities Include:
Health & Safety

Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s Health & Safety policy.
Organize and lead the Health & Safety committee.
Coordinate and provide necessary Health & Safety training.
Oversee company-wide compliance, conduct internal audits, manage risk assessments, and ensure first aid and fire safety preparedness.Environmental

Maintain the company’s Environmental Policy and compliance with legislative changes.
Organize Environmental Awareness training and manage the Aspects & Impacts Register.
Conduct internal audits to uphold ISO 14001 standards and handle emergency preparedness.Quality Assurance

Maintain and improve the ISO9001 system, host audits, and lead QA management meetings.
Act as a quality excellence resource, overseeing the company’s QA file structure and nuclear quality process development.Requirements:

Experience in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards, including ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001.
Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality legislation and compliance.
