Due to the continued expansion of our highly successful specialised engineering company, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to manage a range of ICT Infrastructure and Smart Technology projects throughout the UK & EMEA.

Role Purpose:
As a Project Manager, you will be based within our EU Operations Team, you will lead site teams to deliver a number of multi-disciplined projects. This includes the overall supervision and performance of the operational project team to ensure that all activities meet the programme, cost, safety and quality objectives of the project. The candidate Must be willing to travel as the location of projects could be anywhere across EMEA.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong Health and Safety leadership and compliance throughout all activities relating to the projects you are working on.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed standards.
Ensure risks are identified and mitigation measures are put in place.
Ensure the project budget and costs are managed effectively including reimbursements for variations to the contract.
Understand revenue models, P&L and cost to completion projections.
Ensure project programmes are set up and reviewed both internally and with the client continually throughout the project.
Deliver projects in line with business processes in aid to provide customers a consistent delivery experience.
Conduct regular reviews of drawings/document control on site, ensuring the correct versions are being used.
Participate in bid activities that support the design team and processes. To ensure that
professional, profitable, and successful bids are delivered, meeting customer expectations.
Take full responsibility for all plant and materials hired by the company and ensure these are tracked throughout the project.
Provide leadership for the project delivery team within the area of control; through clear provision of objectives, responsibilities, and accountabilities, managing performance accordingly. Offer guidance and feedback to maximise the performance of the team.
To directly manage sub-contractors to ensure all elements of the project are delivered on time and against the designs provided.
To develop the designs to include site level co-ordination and details which may develop during construction, feeding this back to the design team where necessary.
To work with the Programme Manager and provide an up-to-date status, together with any programme risks and any dependencies which exist.
Work alongside our operational team to produce all post project documentation in line with the client’s requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
RCDD / CNIDP (desirable).
Valid CSCS / ECS health & safety card.
Membership of a professional body.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Clearance (Desirable).
Strong leadership and influencing skills.
Proven experience of Microsoft applications.
Excellent technical understanding of ICT Infrastructure and Smart technologies.
PMP/Prince2/Agile qualifications and experience, plus knowledge of Microsoft Projects would be an advantage.
At least 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager on projects up to £1m.

Must have extremely well-disciplined prioritisation, time management and scheduling abilities (multi-tasking skills are essential).
Forward thinking dedicated and driven.
Working with People:
Able to establish a rapport with service users as necessary e.g. clients, members of the public, other contractors etc.
Understands how to encourage and influence people to get the best from them.
Understands the needs of others and able to respond accordingly.
Communication:
Must be an excellent communicator both written and verbally and be able to explain and describe complex information without ambiguity.
Must be able to effectively listen and communicate with clients to manage, explain and understand the technical project goals and ensure key messages and information are fully understood and conveyed
