About the role:
Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact? We are seeking an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Barnet. This full-time role begins in January 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a lively and motivated Year 6 class during a critical year of their education.
• Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) ready to kickstart their careers.
• No SEN pupils in the classroom, allowing a smooth focus on curriculum delivery.
• Open to part-time applications for the right candidate.
• Suitable for teachers on the M1–M6 pay scale.
You will be responsible for delivering an engaging curriculum that inspires and challenges students, preparing them for their next chapter as they move to secondary school.

Application Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferred but not essential for ECTs).
• A deep understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils.
• Commitment to raising standards and delivering engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality lessons following the Year 6 curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Support students with SATs preparation to boost confidence and attainment.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and senior leadership to track and celebrate progress.
• Actively engage in school initiatives, extracurricular activities, and staff development.
