Senior Garment Technologist - Women's Multi-Product Jersey

Leading High St Fashion Supplier - London

Supermarket Experience Desirable

Full time/Perm - Hybrid

At the cutting edge of fast fashion, this leading high street supplier is a global design and manufacturing business with its headquarters in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Women's Jersey Cut & Sew Garment Technologist looking to develop their career further within a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a friendly, fast paced and experienced Technical team.

Garment Technologist role:

- Preparation of all samples before the fit meeting – press/reference samples, specing initial samples, chasing production samples, uploading the PS chase up list.

- Measure and inspect samples for fit and quality, ensure samples are tagged correctly.

- Writing up comments, responding to emails, liaising cross department, attending handover meetings.

- Liaise with factories regarding fit comments and spec requirements.

- Understanding and checking status/test reports and updating the critical path system.

- Chasing and gathering information, chasing correct trims, uploading sealing on visual.

- Preparing Tech Packs, working closely with pattern cutters.

About you:

- High street retail or supplier background, ideally with supermarket experience.

- A degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion with a genuine interest in garment construction.

- An understanding of pattern cutting and garment manufacture.

- Solid experience using Microsoft Office and Excel.

- Good communication skills, using own initiative and be self-driven.

- Organisational skills, accuracy skills and be innovative with a proactive approach to problem solving.
