PMLD Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD at a lovely SEN School near to Preston. This would be a great opportunity for a recent psychology graduate.

The Role:

Supporting children in small groups or on 1-1 basis
Working with challenging behaviours
Assisting with personal carePosition Details:

Location: Preston
Position: PMLD TA
Hours: 8:15am-3:30pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Start date: Dec 2024
End date: Ongoing
Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experienceExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Team Teach qualification would be highly desirable
Up to date Safeguarding within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
Relevant experience supporting children is essentialTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
