Mechanical Fitter – Permanent – Manchester – £14-18hr – Automation / Bespoke Automated Machinery – Immediate Start

Samuel Frank is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for a Manchester based automation company. The successful Mechanical Fitter will need to have at least 2 years relevant/recent experience and be ready to start the role as soon as possible as this is an immediate requirement.

Key aspects of the Mechanical Fitter position include;

* Build and assemble custom automation equipment from engineering drawings.

* Fit and integrate components with precision.

* Contribute to the design process, enhancing machinery function and performance.

* Collaborate closely with a skilled team throughout the build and testing phases to maintain quality standards.

* Support installations and commissioning at client sites, rough estimate is a 75/25 split between the shop floor and client sites which are located in the UK

* The successful Mechanical Fitter will ideally have a background in machine assembly and will be proficient in reading and working directly from engineering drawings.

* Overtime hours will be available – flat rate overtime during the week and x1.5 if any weekend days are worked

* 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

* 40 hrs week – hours can be worked between 7am-9pm on a flexible basis

* Annual performance reviews with opportunities for progression into team leader and/or management level role

The company is located in Greater Manchester and is easily commutable from places such as Stockport, Denton, Heywood, Ashton-under-Lyne, Altrincham, Bolton or Oldham
