Your Role as an ASD Teaching Assistant
As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them achieve their goals and overcome challenges. This hands-on role offers the chance to work closely with specialist educators and make a meaningful impact on your students’ lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing one-to-one and group support for students with ASD, tailored to their individual needs.

* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that engage and inspire.

* Using strategies and tools to support students with communication, social, and sensory needs.

* Helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Collaborating with SEN coordinators and therapists to ensure consistent and effective support.
