CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator

Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: Permanent Nights (Mon - Thurs, 6pm - 6am, with 1-hour break)
Salary: £45,760 per annum

Are you an experienced CNC Turner with expertise in programming, setting, and operating Haas lathes? We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator to join our growing team in Wakefield, working permanent night shifts. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to varied and interesting projects, working with high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and programme HAAS SL30 and ST10 lathes to produce components to drawing specifications and tight tolerances.
Produce high-quality components, ensuring they meet the required drawing tolerances.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the Production Manager.Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in setting, programming, and operating Fanuc or HAAS.
Ability to use relevant inspection measuring equipment effectively.
Strong understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused work.
Awareness of health and safety standards.
A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Minimum City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant discipline) is desirable.This role offers a competitive salary of £45,760 per year, working permanent night shifts. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment with the chance to develop your skills.
