About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a Cardiff-based SEN Primary School. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support that enhances the educational experience for students with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with Autism.
Support students in developing their social skills and emotional well-being.
Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to ongoing assessments.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
Provide one-on-one and group support to enhance students' learning experiences.
Requirements:

Experience working with children with Autism and special educational needs is desirable.
A compassionate and patient attitude with a commitment to making a difference in students' lives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
