Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Hackney?

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a vibrant school in Hackney, where you’ll empower students to explore the wonders of the world and beyond.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging Geography lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, plan and prepare an inspiring curriculum, and assess student progress with constructive feedback. 

Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 curricula.
Inspire students with creative teaching methods that bring the subject to life.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing valuable feedback to support their learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices.
Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events and activities.
Requirements of the Geography Teacher:

A Degree or PGCE in Geography (Humanities qualifications will not be considered).
Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (certification is a plus).
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
