The Company

A well-established and growing insurance brokerage based in Manchester is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their team. The Role

In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients.
Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and risk profiles.
Provide bespoke commercial insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Present detailed insurance proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
Meet and exceed new business targets consistently.

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or in a business development role within the insurance sector.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the Manchester market.
Excellent track record of securing and growing new business opportunities.
Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A proactive and consultative approach to client engagement.
Adaptable to a hybrid working model (split between office and remote).
