Due to the vast growth within this company my client is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor
About the Role: Salary band £30,000 per annum
Temp to perm position weekly pay to start off
Monday-Friday (Apply online only) O/T paid at time and a half
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the seamless movement of goods through the supply chain. You'll be responsible for leading a team, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high performance, productivity, and adherence to health and safety standards.
* Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Utilise WMS to monitor inventory, track orders, and optimise workflows. Ensure all data is accurately recorded and maintained.
* Operations Oversight: Oversee receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch processes, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
* Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy through effective control processes.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards, conduct regular risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
* Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and an understanding of supply chain processes.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
