Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Wards Pharmacist to join a well-established NHS trust in Essex. This is a fantastic role for a qualified pharmacist looking for an immediate start with a 3 to 6-month contract, offering a competitive hourly rate.

As a Band 7 Pharmacist, you will be working across a variety of wards, providing clinical pharmacy support to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines. You will also be required to travel to a second site one day a week (mileage will be reimbursed).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmacy services to ward areas, ensuring optimal use of medications.
Work closely with healthcare teams to offer expert advice on pharmaceutical care.
Review prescriptions and medication charts, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines.
Provide patient counseling and medication reviews.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and support medicine management services.
Requirements:

Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Proven experience as a Band 7 Wards Pharmacist or in a similar clinical pharmacy role.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Flexibility to travel to another site 1 day per week.
Benefits:
