Embedded Software Systems Requirement Engineer / Test Engineer:

* Must have experience of some kind of wireless communication protocol experience, such as: 2G, GSM, 3G, GPRS, UMTS, 4G, 5G, LTE, WiFi Bluetooth or Zigbee

* Understanding of embedded software systems (from a QA test or development perspective – this job does NOT involve programming )

* Software requirements analysis experience required with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate the bigger solution picture

* Experience writing use cases and defining product functionality would be ideal, but this can be learnt on the job

* This is an ideal role for those with Product Manager aspirations

Duties

* Bridging the gap between technical and commercial development

* You will work closely with stakeholders to define and specify new wireless systems products and features.

* Excellent communication required for pragmatic and collaborative teamwork

* Write high quality requirements and develop system, functional, interface and product level specifications

Role: Embedded Software Systems Requirements Engineer / Test Engineer
Location: Cambridge Hybrid
Salary: £37-45K plus flexible working hours including some home working, pension, private healthcare, dental plan, income protection plan, free parking, great restaurant facilities and an early finish on Fridays (Monday to Thursday – 8 hours, Friday – 5 hours)
