Your Key Responsibilities:

Specialist Care Delivery: Provide highly specialist Occupational Therapy as part of the Parkinson’s Multi-disciplinary Team, working autonomously and collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Neurological Expertise: Take the lead in developing and delivering occupational therapy interventions for people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions, focusing on rehabilitation and improving quality of life.
*
Assessment and Treatment: Manage your own caseload, assessing and treating clients with complex needs, and working closely with medical and therapy professionals to plan and deliver coordinated care.
*
Supervision and Mentoring: Support and supervise junior staff and students, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration. Post-graduate training in Rehabilitation, Cognitive, or Neurological Therapy is essential.

Experience: Proven post-graduate experience in neurology, Parkinson’s disease, and community services, with a strong background in planning complex discharges and coordinating care.
*
Skills: Advanced assessment and treatment skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of assistive technology and experience supervising staff are essential.
