An inclusive and aspirational comprehensive secondary school on the outskirts of Chippenham are looking for a full-time Teacher of Computing, to start in January. The school provides students with excellent pastoral care, high quality teaching and a broad curriculum in order to support every student in achieving their desired outcomes. As a modern, purpose-built building, the school boasts excellent facilities, including modern and well-equipped IT suites.

About the role:

* Full-time from January 2025,

* Temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent

* Teaching: Y11 GCSE AQA Computing; Y13 A-Level AQA Computing, and KS3 Computing

* There may also be a requirement to teach a second subject, such as DT

* Planning, marking and assessment will all be required

* School community built on mutual respect

* Pay to scale from day one in line with experience (ECTs will be considered)

The ideal candidate will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (support available for an ECT) or ENIC (was NARIC) and right to work (overseas teachers only)

* Be a reflective, empathetic and engaging classroom practitioner with the desire to make a real difference to pupil’s lives

* Have high expectations of every pupil

* Be able to easily build a rapport across the wider school community
