ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Kidderminster on a full-time basis.

The role:

A well-established school is seeking an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring learning support assistant to work with children with special educational needs.
The school is looking for someone to provide support to children on a one-to-one and small-group basis in a classroom setting, working alongside a Teacher and additional support staff.
Promote student engagement and participation during lessons.
Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students.
About the school:

Providing education and care for young children and young people from the ages of 6-19 with a variety of social, emotional, physical and learning difficulties, including autism and visual impairment.
The school is set in beautiful surroundings and encourages children and young adults to flourish in a nurturing and caring environment.
All students receive personal Social and Health Education and those of secondary age receive careers advice and guidance by supportive and caring staff.
The overall aim of the school is to prepare young people for life and to achieve the best possible outcome for students.
About you:-
We are looking for candidates who:

Have relevant experience supporting students with autism, social, emotional, physical and learning difficulties.
Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care.
Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
