Quality Inspector
Salary up to £31,200 + o/t, permanent role 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday), BS37 Yate, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, parking, life assurance.

An exciting opportunity to join an established aerospace engineering company to maintain and monitor quality assurance and quality control activities. The role of quality inspector will be an integral part of the quality team reporting to the line manager.

The quality inspector, aerospace inspector role will involve the following responsibilities

Quality Assurance

To ensure Company quality systems are always adhered to.
Maintain calibration records.
Collate certificates and reports for documentation packages.
Liaise with outside inspectors and auditorsQuality Control

Monitor quality related shop floor activities.
To verify traceability of components is maintained throughout all manufacturing and inspection operations.
Monitor route records to verify operations are completed sequentially and signed appropriately.
Record returned and reworked items on non-conformances.
Visually inspect components
CMM experience essential.
Completion and verification of route record operations.
Assist in the completion of non-conformances (internal/external)

Skill set required for the quality inspector, aerospace inspector

Understanding of engineering production requirements to achieve output
Ability to liaise with production teams to achieve customers' demands
CMM experience essential
Experience in Aberlink and Tutor software an advantage
Experience of ERP would be an advantage
Non-conformance reports/actioning
Use manual measuring equipment
Working to ISO9001:2015
Computer literate, including Microsoft Word & Excel
