We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis, working 22.2 hours per week.

Role Overview: You will work within the community, focusing on facilitating timely and effective discharges from assessment bed units and conducting home assessments across the county. Your role will involve addressing physiotherapy needs, coordinating the ordering of necessary equipment, and contributing to patient care plans aimed at fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. Additionally, you may be involved in some aspects of bed management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and modify patient-centered goal plans to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Assist with physiotherapy needs and ensure the timely procurement of required equipment.
Engage in bed management and coordination as needed.
Requirements:

A valid driving license is essential, as this role involves travel across the county.
Empathy, dedication to promoting independence, and strong communication skills are critical to success in this role.
You must act with integrity, honesty, and impartiality at all times.
About You:

Registered with HCPC and RCOT.
Hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
Have at least 18 months of experience as a registered Occupational Therapist, or demonstrate equivalent competency through prior experience.
Possess specialist training or demonstrate equivalent competency in environmental adaptations.
About Us:

Contract Length: Minimum 6 months
Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Mileage: Business mileage reimbursement at £0.45 per mile
