Severe needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool, L7
Salary: £87 - £97 per day

We are seeking an inspiring SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic special school in Liverpool (L8). This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive environment, equipped with excellent resources to help students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1-1 and small group support for students with severe learning difficulties and disabilities
Assist in managing SEMH challenges with patience and understanding
Collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing and effective learning environment
Foster independence, confidence, and social skills in students
Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A genuine passion for working with SEND students
Experience working in special or mainstream schools supporting children with learning difficulties and SEMH needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A calm, patient, and positive approach to supporting challenging behavior
